If you've never heard of me until now, it's normal—I'm pretty low-key. But know this: I know the weight of the trading psychology struggle. I know it deeply! Because years ago, I was right there...

I had a trading edge. I studied the market. I knew my plan.

Every day, I'd wake up at the crack of dawn and pour hours into preparation... but as soon as the market opened, emotions and ego would take over.

FOMO. Hesitation. Revenge trading. Tilt...

And every time, I promised myself I would stop—after amply beating myself up. Yet week after week, month after month, the same patterns kept repeating.

No matter how much I learned, no matter how much I wanted to improve, I just...kept... shooting myself... in the foot.

I kept losing money. I lost confidence. I wasted time. The mental and emotional toll almost broke me.

I'll spare you the details for now, but in short, my trading failures led me to embark on a meditation journey, during which I became a Buddhist monk for a short time.

And after some deep inner work, I came back to the market with more clarity and consistency.

Over the ensuing years, I turned about $14,000 into well over a million.

Down the line, I was offered an opportunity to manage capital for a small group of high-net-worth investors, eventually becoming a published author—with features on Investopedia, Chat With Traders, Entrepreneur, CNBC, SiriusXM, Forbes, and more.

Along my journey, I developed a passion for teaching what I've learned. And I turned what I discovered into a clear, step-by-step framework called the Trading Composure Equation, or CTP framework or method.

Now I teach it to traders, helping them go through the same inner transformation that changed my life.

Trading composure isn't just something I teach. It’s something I had to learn the hard way.

Years ago, I struggled with the same patterns that keep traders stuck: FOMO, hesitation, revenge trading, tilt, overconfidence, fear of being wrong… you name it. I’d mess up, beat myself up, promise I’d never do it again… and then repeat the same cycle a few days later.

At some point, I realized the market wasn’t really the problem. The real problem was what happened inside me when money was on the line.

After losing my life savings to the market, I stepped away from trading and went on a long inner journey. I spent months living in Buddhist monasteries, studying meditation deeply, and becoming obsessed with understanding the mind in a real, practical way.

That journey changed everything for me. I learned how to relate to uncertainty, emotion, and risk differently — not just in theory, but through lived experience. And that’s what I now teach through Trading Composure. Because I'm very passionate about this.

I’ve helped over 1,000 traders develop more discipline, consistency, and emotional composure in the markets.

... some of the most successful investors in history have taught, written books, created frameworks, and educated others.

That aside, for me personally, the very simple reason why I've written books and offer coaching is this:

Trading is the only thing I really know how to do.

I don’t even know how to change a tire...

But I do understand trading. More specifically, the psychology of it, and what it can do to a person.

I spent years obsessing over this craft. Years studying the psychological demands and impacts of it.

I did all of that in the lab of my own life. And I've sacrificed so much in that process....

Relationships, emotional drawdowns, debilitating confusion, lasting impact on my health...

My obsession with trading nearly cost me everything. I was on the verge of being homeless... I got really close to that edge.

And yes, eventually trading made me a lot of money. Enough to retire and live comfortably without ever having to work or even trade another day in my life.

But I don't want to retire and do nothing. At least, not yet.

Also, everything I gained from trading came at a high personal cost. And if I can help someone avoid some of the pitfalls, then that matters to me. 

My team and I have helped a lot of traders turn their results (and lives) around. I enjoy doing this. It's one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done with my own life.

Now, if you work with me, I can't promise you’ll make a fortune. Nobody honest can promise that.

But I can show you how to approach this craft with more maturity, more structure, and more emotional discipline.

And if you do this well enough + have a real trading edge, the results will take care of themselves... and the market won’t consume you the way it consumed me.

Your typical trading guru says:

"control your emotions..."
"be disciplined..."
"stay consistent..."

Beautiful... and true... but how?

And more importantly, how do you do this consistently... on good days... on red days... on days where nothing is going well?

That’s where most advice falls short.

No one shows you the exact steps and key mental shifts you need to make.

The typical coach hops on a call with you once or twice a week, and tells you what the ideal behavior is.

Great stuff... but that doesn’t help you build the internal capacity to actually live that behavior under pressure, under uncertainty.

Our approach is different because we work at the actual point of friction... which is in the heat of trading, where the problem pattern actually shows up.

We are there at the specific moments where you lose alignment, so you can understand what is happening internally, and build the structure, accountability, and mental shifts needed to respond differently.

Most traders don’t need another motivational quote about discipline. They need help becoming the kind of trader who can remain disciplined when discipline is hardest. And that's what we do.
